Kori came into the business of styling hair while still in high school. She enrolled in a program that allowed her to master the craft in time for graduation. She can’t remember a time when she wanted to do anything else. She recalled as a child, a doll’s hair was always fair game for a cut. She’d pay close attention during any trip to the salon and try to duplicate the haircut herself, at home. By 2004 she was an industry professional. Having worked in salons, Kori was on the lookout for a place that fit for her perfectly. “I spent one day here and it was such a good energy, I stayed,” she said. Kori lives in Detroit. When she’s not at the shop, she’s cooking, painting, dancing or entertaining.
