Novi is a bit further out than some of our other feeder cities, but Detroit Barbers on Forest Ave in downtown Plymouth is still the closest real barbershop option for a lot of Novi residents, since we do not have a location inside city limits. The drive down Novi Rd to Beck Rd is simple enough that it does not feel like a special trip.

Plenty of our Novi customers work near Twelve Oaks Mall, the Suburban Collection Showplace, or Providence Park Hospital, and they route down Novi Rd or Grand River Ave before cutting over to Beck Rd toward Plymouth. Depending on traffic around Twelve Mile, the trip usually runs 15 to 20 minutes.

Once you get to downtown Plymouth, Forest Ave is easy to spot, a block off Main St and close enough to Kellogg Park that you can stretch your legs while you wait if the shop is busy. Fade haircuts start at $40, standard cuts start at $35, and a line-up alone is $20 if you just need the edges cleaned up.

The rest of the week runs Tuesday through Friday 10 to 7, Saturday 10 to 5, and Sunday 11 to 5.

Families in the newer developments off Novi Rd near Providence Park sometimes plan a haircut around a hospital shift change, since the flexible weekday hours make it easier to fit in a trip before or after work rather than losing a whole afternoon off.
