Groom haircuts, hot towel shaves, beard shaping, and full wedding-party grooming — by Detroit Barber Co.
Wedding day photos last forever, and the haircut and shave in those photos last just as long. Detroit Barbers has been the wedding grooming choice for grooms, groomsmen, and fathers across Metro Detroit for more than a decade. We have prepared wedding parties at every one of our eight shops, and we have learned what works: a trial appointment a month out, a final cut three to five days before the wedding, and a clean hot-towel shave the morning of or the day before.
Wedding grooming is not a single service — it is a small plan. The groom usually books a haircut, beard shaping, line-up, and a hot towel shave. Groomsmen typically book together, often the day before or the morning of, and we open up barbers in adjacent chairs so the party can be in and out together. Fathers of the bride and groom often join — same plan, same chair.
Book early. Wedding-season weekends (May through October) fill up fast at our Birmingham, Ferndale, Detroit/Corktown, and Plymouth shops in particular. The further out you reserve, the more flexibility you will have with barbers and times.
